Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (TITLI)

Established as a cornerstone of Uzbekistan's textile education, the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (TITLI) is based in the capital of Uzbekistan and was founded in 1935. The institute offers specialized academic programs designed to cultivate engineers and designers who will shape the future of the textiles and light industry.

TITLI is home to departments that focus on textile engineering, industrial technology, and design. These programs cover advanced textile manufacturing, sustainable dyeing and finishing techniques, and the design and production of garments and footwear. By blending theoretical and practical learning, TITLI ensures that students are equipped with both the skills and creativity to succeed in the textile sector.

It has more than 20 international partners including Academie Internationale de coupe de Paris, Wuhan Textile University, and Albstadt-Sigmaringen University. In 2021, TechnoPark was launched as a part of TITLI, which was funded by South Korea.

As a leader in textile education in Central Asia, TITLI continues to inspire a new generation of professionals, supporting the growth of Uzbekistan’s textile industry as an integral part of the nation’s economy.
