Fiber Society's Technical Meeting and Conference 2024
The Fiber Society seeks abstract submissions on fundamental research related to the science and engineering of fibers and fibrous materials for its Fall 2024 Technical Meeting and Conference, scheduled for October 23–25, 2024, at ENSISA–Université de Haute-Alsace, Mulhouse, France. Submissions of original work related but not limited to the following themes are welcomed:
• Composites
• Biomedical Textiles
• Smart Textiles
• Bio-sourced Fibers
• Textiles Recycling
• Numerical Cloth Design and Simulation
• Textile Surface Topography, Tribology, and Surface Characterization
• Fibrous Constructions: Design, Characterization, and Modeling
Online submissions only will be accepted beginning 06/24/2024.
Access The Fiber Society website at thefibersociety.org and follow the link for submissions; do not email your submission. Formatting guidelines for oral and poster abstracts are provided online. Submissions must be in the proper Word document format; no PDFs.
Submission deadline is 09/13/2024. Notification of acceptance will be no later than 09/20/2024.
Conference registration will be online through The Fiber Society website. Up-to-date information about the conference, hotel accommodations, travel, and more will be available on the website as details are finalized.
